Welcome to Plantmade WA! My name is Anna, I live in Fremantle, Western Australia. I am passionate about where I live, the lifestyle I lead, my 2 gorgeous kids and the world of food! I believe the world begins around the kitchen table, gathering people and communities together and sharing a meal.
As a child, my grandmother showed me how to cook, mainly sweet delicious dishes and preserves. From the Barossa, her garden was full of fruits, vegetables, nuts and chooks. She spent hours tending her garden and bringing in fresh produce to cook. This passion was passed onto me as a young child and I am forever grateful.
I studied Commercial Cookery over 25 years ago, worked in catering, safari camps, home chef, raw food and have more recently completed my studies of Professional Cookery through Matthew Kenney's Plantlab, California. I have worked and travelled extensively overseas for the past 25 years, I feel, finally my time has come to share my passion with you.
